NEW PROJECT INBOUND

(November 2nd, 2019)

What's good everyone. As of today, I'm here to announce that I have now begun work a small arcade project about a mouse trying to save food from being eaten by zombie rats. This is small project before I'm focusing getting better at my programming skills and trying to release something that doesn't have any major bugs at launch.

My goal is to finish this small amount of time, probably around January, but don't quote me on that. In addition release this on Itch.io and the Microsoft Creator's Collection on PC and Xbox One. I'm gonna see if I can balance the time I have for school and social interactions to get this project a float.

Also, I might do a video series documenting progress on where the project is going so that might boost interest.

I have some concept art and footage on my INSTAGRAM here.

Thank you for your support,
Peace

It's been a good 2 months or more since I started on working on this. I also have a small demo coming in least than hour. They're going to be alot of bugs during the demo and there is maybe or maybe not an end credits sequence, I'm not sure if the version I post have it.

Let Me Know in comments and I'll fix that.

Update June 19th, 2017

Hey Guys,

Just want to let everyone know about what plans that I'm setting up right now.

Let's start of with some important news. Im stopping production on Open Dimension Portals: Alpha. Don't be alarmed, I'm not cancelling it this is my dream project and forever will be the project I'll put my heart and soul into. The project will just be on a heavy hiatus due to me wanting to gain more time to polish up on 3d modeling, audio, programming, and working with Unreal Engine 4. Matter of fact, I just got my student copy of 3dsMax a couple weeks so I'll be learning that and well be switching between workflows with both that and Blender. In the mean time, I'll be working on smaller projects until that time comes for me to be confident in the work i'm producing and be satisfied with the end result. With this hiatus, this also includes Open Dimension Portals Alpha Prologue for that also links to the original game. However, The Simple Collectionwill be still worked on.

Ok, now that news is out of the way, I'm officially on summer break. Just finished my sophomore year of high school and I'm going to try to be busy and start and work on projects I'm working on while relaxing and doing summer homework. Right now, I'm doing some research on the JavaFX pipeline, which is a form of java that help build the custom engine to ODPA, and I'm thinking on doing something with it. I don't what, but I'll think of something. In addition, I just got myself the full version of RPG Maker VX Ace and MV. I'm working on some small adventures that are exciting, yet funny and cringy. I'll announce something further in the future.

Well, that's all for now. See you guys later.

Peace,

*Update* Mutiple Builds (Nov 15,2015)
Hello,

As of November 15, 2015, I'm using multiple engines/sources to make Open Dimension Portals: AlphaPossible. Why may you ask? Due to graphics enhancements and flexibility of Unity & UE4 vs the long, non-royalty, simply-coded engine that I'm creating.

I'll determine which one I'll continue to throughout the whole game. Progress will be shown on my Youtube Channel, IndieDB and/or Tumblr.

Sonar Acquired | Back to school Dev stream(August/22/2015)

Since it was my birthday a couple days ago, I manage to get Sonar(an advance music program) to expand the soundtrack selection, one for FL Studio and the other one for X3. I'm going back to school in a day or two so I decided to host a stream on Youtube to show development on my game.

Remember:

- This Stream will probably be Saturday or Sunday (haven't decide yet on the time, probably during the evening.)

- This Stream will show the modeling process. I'm not good with the coding process, so I won't do any plus I'm still studying some of it during high school so don't worry.

Engine: Java, Python or C++ (June/10/2015)

What's Good Guys this Rashad Patterson from Zstudios,

I'm having a little issue with game engine in eclipse. So can you guys help me decide on which language should my game use?

1.) C++ & DirectX
2.) Continue using OpenGL & Java
3.) Use Python & OpenGL

Please leave suggestions by 6/12/15

Engine: C++ is killing me!! (July/13/2015)

For the past couple of weeks I've been having trouble, deciding on what language to use and the setup process. My Brain hurts just cause of this, Directx and installing libraries in c++ is a pain, and the process of just creating a simple window was difficult just cause. Doing research as well getting inspiration with my other local talents to keep my motivated and calm. I still don't what I'm gonna do. So I made a final decision to go back to Java do to code simplicity and less cludder.

Custom to Unity (July/26/2015)

The Frustration is real and the Simple stuff is can not be created.
It's finally decided that further operations of Open Dimension Portals: Alpha will be moved to Unity 5 engine. I said in one of my videos that "Originality is key", that I was intended to go for, engine included. Researching Java, Opengl, etc. content 3 days a week its pulling off as wanted.Maybe the game I'll try again, but for now Eclipse, Java and I are not cut out for each other momentarily.
